Todd: "I'm sorry for your loss." What?!?
ReplyDeleteHe's obviously desensitized to death and violence. He doesn't know it's supposed to be bad, but yet he's so courteous and considerate about the whole thing.
What I find fascinating is the way the nature of each character seems to be affected by their reactions with other characters -- just like chemistry. It's a metaphor than can be drawn from most stories, but in the Breaking Bad universe, extra care is taken to highlight it. How do these two elements exist together? What about when some pressure is applied? Heat? How much of a particular element can we add to this situation before it becomes explosive?
The show is so rich with detail everything works together flawlessly. It truly is all about the chemistry.
Hey, speaking of checklists -- excellent review by James Poniewozick at Time:

Great show, guys! I feel like I'm listening to Badger and Skinny Pete discussing Star Trek but in a good way.
